Andrew Grimes is second generation Industrial Designer. Who grew up playing under drafting tables in the late 1980's at Dave Ellies Industrial Design, Inc. Fascinated by the full scale foam core mockups of aircraft interiors and all the fun tool that are to be found at a design consulting firm of time. Andrew later went on to get his B.F.A. Industrial Design form Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) . After moving to Austin in the 2003 Andrew has worked in many different industries from , signage, lighting, print and manufacturing.
With the ability to pickup and learn new things quickly. Andrew is always looking to expand his ever growing skill set. Never afraid to try something new or ask for advice or help when need. Andrew is very motivated and is a great self starter. Andrew is easy to get along with and works great in team environments. Open to constructive criticism and with a unique creative perspective has a lot to offer any design team. Andrew would be a great asset to any expanding company as a contract or full time designer.
